My partner and I recently stayed at the Lincoln Hotel in a standard double room. The room was very clean and had a fantastic power shower. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was £5 for the one night stay, which was very good for city centre parking.

We ordered breakfast with the room and there was lots of choice on the buffet. I had informed the reception staff the night before of my gluten intolerance and in the morning the waitress asked for my breakfast order. I was pleasantly surprised that I could have a full breakfast with gluten free sausages and toast. My breakfast was served straight from the kitchen to prevent cross contamination. Excellent service.

Two night stay to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary. A warm greeting when we entered, everyone was so helpful and friendly. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was facing the Cathedral, it was a lovely room, nice and clean. Couldn’t fault the Buffett breakfast, lots of choice.

Visited the Lincoln hotel on Christmas day and what a brilliant experience. The waiting staff were very friendly and the food was brilliant. I would have no hesitations about booking again next year. Thank you Lincoln hotel!

We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome after a 2 hour journey. Our room was clean and the bed was SO comfortable. We had a room with a view of the cathedral which was worth a million pounds, just beautiful especially lit up at night.
All the staff were helpful, informative, friendly and polite. We'd definitely return.

Lovely hotel right next to the Cathedral. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet nice rooms. Dinner menu exceptional, best dinners I have had in a British Hotel. Reasonable bar prices. Excellent breakfast. Good for Gluten Free.

Tip. Lincoln is on very steep hill, good bus service to the door

Just returned from a wonderful overnight stay for my birthday and won't hesitate to return.location amazing right by the beautiful cathedral,our room was lovely and our evening meal in the green room was perfect,wonderful 3 courses ..the breakfast too was great with so much to offer.we parked free at the hotel and walked everywhere,even up and down Steep Hill several times...definitely deserves its name as the return journey is leg punishing but worth it.Thank you to all the lovely staff especially the lovely Midlands girl on reception who was one if the most welcoming people we have met in a long time. Your staff are a credit to you .
